I strongly support the establishment of a U.S. Marshall Plan for Haiti.
Please don't let the suffering of the Haitian people during this terrible earthquake be in vain. For too long, Haiti has struggled with half-measures and an international community that is at best indifferent and at worst has actually supported dictators and cronies in oppressing the Haitian people.
Enough is enough. Haiti is our neighbor. Let's give our neighbor a hand. In doing so, we can help increase global security and expand global markets.
